Allah (SWT) says in the Qu’ran (Al-Baqra: 261): The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed [of grain] which grows seven spikes; in each spike is a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies [His reward] for whom He wills. And Allah is all-Encompassing and Knowing.
Capital Projects
Maintaining a building is expensive: it costs many times more to run a building over its lifetime than to build it, yet maintenance is often not accorded the priority it warrants. A poorly maintained building will be a drain on resources and will impair building use, whereas a well maintained building will function smoothly and represent an appreciating asset to its owners. ISRI needs to renew its plumbing system, heating and cooling system. Additionally bathrooms need to be renovated and new windows need to be installed.
In view of the growth of its student population, ISRI needs to construct additional classrooms and facilities to enable us to expand educational programs. Additional classroom furniture needs to be purchased, equipment for the science and computer labs must be enhanced, and existing computers are in need of being upgraded.
Program Enhancement
To provide the most effective, all-round and up-to-date education for students, course offerings must be expanded. We must have the funds to hire fine, well-qualified, teachers and to provide them with state-of-the-art facilities and ongoing professional development and training. Library holdings must be expanded.
Student Financial Assistance
Our goal is to attract talented Muslim students with leadership potential, regardless of their financial means, and to prepare them for leadership positions in the Muslim community and society at large. Scholarships reward academic excellence, and tuition assistance enable students from financially needy families to take advantage of the exceptional educational program we offer. The amount of tuition assistance differs depending on need and the availability of funds.
All donations, large and small, will be gratefully accepted. Donors may specify whether their donation is intended for the operation of the school and capital projects, program enhancements, or student financial assistance.
